I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
.
Martin Luther King was a courageous man that all of the following generations will remember. This is why we have no school on Monday (so we can remembers the past events that have happened several years ago between the blacks and whites). I think that we should have school on Monday because only a minority of students take the time to remember Martin Luther King independantly or with their family. Therefore, I believe that we should go to school and attend an assembly which educates students about Martin Luther King and his history.Remembering the events that have happened so many years ago helps people to accept other people for who they are, and not judge them by their nationallity or race. If Martin Luther King had not been born then the world as we know it would be very different.
