I do not think that schools kill our creativity because they give students  insight and background on a variety of subjects. Public schools even offer students an opportunity to play an instrument of their choice from grades four through twelve. Teachers also spend their extra time after school so that students can participate in a variety of extra curricular activities, ranging from creative writing to playing floor hockey. As a result, students gain the knowledge and innovative skills that they need in order for them to be successful in the future.
